Building a Fusion Wardrobe Capsule
Launch library · evergreen read

A fusion capsule wardrobe works best when built around a small number of genuinely versatile pieces that can be recombined in many different ways, rather than accumulating individual outfits that only ever work as a single fixed combination. Start with one or two bottoms, such as palazzo pants or a dhoti pant, that pair easily with both western and desi tops.
Add a handful of tops spanning different formality levels, from a simple fitted crop top to a more embellished blouse suitable for evening wear, so the same bottoms can move convincingly between casual and festive occasions. A structured jacket or a well cut blazer then bridges the gap further, adding polish wherever it is needed most.
Footwear and accessories complete the capsule, with juttis, sneakers and a pair of simple heels covering most likely occasions between them. The goal throughout is maximum combinations from a genuinely minimal number of pieces, rather than a wardrobe full of outfits that each only work in one single, narrow way.
