Faced with a fixed budget, the choice often comes down to one significant investment piece versus several smaller, more affordable ones spread across the year. A single statement lehenga or an heirloom worthy jewellery piece can anchor a wardrobe for years, worn repeatedly and restyled with different accessories each time it appears.

Several smaller pieces, by contrast, offer variety and flexibility that a single expensive item simply cannot match on its own. For someone attending many events across a year, a handful of adaptable, mid range outfits may deliver more genuine wear than one showstopping piece worn only once before it starts to feel overly familiar to guests.

The right answer depends on your calendar as much as your taste. Frequent event attendance tends to favour variety and rotation, while occasional but significant occasions justify investing more heavily in a single, considered piece designed to be worn again across future years without losing its appeal.
